An authentic reproduction, this pattern received its name after appearing in a famous photo of Calvin Coolidge as he was being sworn into office as the 30th U. S. President. Vice President Coolidge learned he was President at 2:30 a.m. after President Harding died. By the light of a kerosene lamp, his father, a notary public, administered the oath of office.
