“This cherry pitter is just like the one we used when I was growing up on a farm near Kidron, Ohio. We pitted oodles of sour cherries from our sour cherry trees. The pitter tears the cherries a little but works fast except for an occasional jammed pit. We enjoyed many cherry pies, cobblers, james and jellies from those pitted cherries.”
