"I bought this steam juicer about a year ago, on sale and used it this summer for making elderberry juice, for jelly, syrup, cordial and wine(a family tradition from my childhood, now my grandchildren are included)It makes a nice clear juice and so much easier than the old boil/cheesecloth method. I had a similar experience to others on my first try...clamp leaking etc...but I quickly perfected my skill...I now hook the clamp up, over one of the side handles on the pot, when not in use."

"I had never used a juicer of any kind before making this purchase. The whole process could not have been easier. I made several quarts of tomato juice in very little time. My mother and grandmother were amazed at the ease of use and how easily everything was cleaned up. Definitely recommend. Mamaw swears that it used to take her much, much longer."

"I just received my Steam Juicer and have put it to good use already with Concord Grape juice. This juicer makes canning so easy and quick! I'm so glad I decided to buy it."

"I love this juicer. After extracting juice for canning by boiling the fruit and straining the pulp I decided to look up a more modern approach. The steam juicer is the only juicer I will ever need for my canning. The juice is wonderful, the prep time is slashed in half, and I can use the double boiler on other kitchen applications. The only thing I will say is keep the clamp closed and use gloves when handling the hot glass. My first try I ended up with hot juice on my face, all over the floor and stove. This wasn't due to a bad product, I wasn't thinking about what I was doing and moved the clamp which made the juice come out. After all the mess I tried it again with my mother's help and everything went smoothly. I highly recommend this juicer."

"The day after it arrived, I put it right to use making apricot juice. I love the size...it is much easier for me to handle than the larger ones. Easy to clean, too! Check for steaming times online...apricots take 60 min. after steam starts to escape from the top. Love it!"

"The steam juicer seems to be of reasonable quality. The stainless steel is a bit thin but for the price it's worth it. We used it the first day and it works just like it is suppose to. We received it two days after it was ordered.I would recomend this to anyone who is on a budget or just wants a good deal."

"WOW! I have used it 3 times since getting the juicer 3 weeks ago. Would have used it as soon as it came, but had to wait for the strawberries to ripen. Works so well I can hardly believe it. I washed the berries and removed the green tops then into the juicer they went. No seeds and very little pulp of any kind in the final product. The juice made crystal clear bright red strawberry jelly. No more mashing and straining berries through a cheese cloth - no more stained fingers! Can't wait to try this juicer with chokecherries. A wonderful product and I have already recommended it to several friends."

"I requested this steamer for Mother's Day and just finished my first batch of juice. It is simple to use- wash your fruit (cut it up if you want, you don't need to cut it or take out seeds, stems), put it in the fruit basket and steam it for a few hours. That's all it takes for delicious, thick juice that can go straight into canning jars. I'm delighted!"

"Good steam juicer for the money. I picked this one up as it was on sale and I wanted something a little bit smaller than my other juicer. The steel used is noticeably lighter than my other juicer thus the 4 stars, but it does work just fine. For the money it's hard to beat, especially being stainless steel."

"Terrible Chinese version of the larger one! First time I used it I found out the hard way the drain spigot wasn't sealed correctly. This thing leaked all over the burners and dripped on the floor. The juice ended up in the bottom boiler pan creating even more of a mess. The concept is great and the juice that wasn't on the counter and floor was very good, just a word to the wise go with the large Finland made one. Maybe they take pride in their products, God knows the Chinese don't!"
