PANTS STRETCHER – LARGE DESCRIPTION

The large stretcher is the one we've carried for years.  It fits most adult sizes.

Simple to use:

  1. Insert pants stretcher, through the waist, into each leg of freshly washed pants.
  2. Make sure the pants stretchers are aligned with the crease lines of the pants and adjust for snug fit
  3. Use the hooks on the pants stretchers to hang the pants upside down and allow to dry
  4. Remove the pants stretchers when the pants are dry

Versatile:

  • Wide end adjusts from 20-1/2" to 12-1/2"
  • Narrow end adjusts from 11-3/4" to 7-3/4"
  • Rust-resistant steel
  • 1-1/4 lb

"Love these. Thinking about ordering more! Really reduces ironing. Great quality." -- A Satisfied Lehman's Customer

"Worked very well. Very pleased. A very functional design that has been resurrected from the 1950's. An excellent idea then and an excellent idea now." -- A Satisfied Lehman's Customer

"have used pant stretchers for years. ordered 4 pair recently and am ready to throw them away. length is about 2 - 4 inches too short, and slide lock mechanism is a joke. adjustment on stretchers fails to lock in position resulting in poor creases. terrible product...I want my money back !!!"

"It says 37" long, and they are, but don't forget that that's the full size. That means that if you're short like me and wear 30 inch length (as measured from the inseam) pants, using these will NOT reach all the way to the waist, meaning the waist at your belt line is likely to shrink. Now, I suppose there is a limit to how long they can make these, but if the width is adjustable, the height ought to be as well. Be warned. You bought them to save money on drycleaning but if you have to toss the pants because they no longer fit at the waist, there's little point."

"It is too bad these are not made in the USA. It would be nice if there was a size to fit men's 33x34 size jeans and women's size 4. I have old stretchers that are sized OK. An option for a children's size and medium size would be a nice addition. "

"I have 4 that I purchased many years ago and are still in great condition... These are very similar, except there is no length adjustment.and the spring doesn't hold when spread apart. The older models have no need for a spring and hold very well... my mistake for thinking the spring was an improvement..."

"Wish these were American made. They are more flimsy than the ones we used to use. I purchased 3 pairs. One broke right away but still using the other two."

"After taking a little while to figure out how to use these, I really like them. My summer work pants have to be ironed and these eliminated the need. I get nice straight creases down the front of the pants just as if I'd ironed them. I totally recommend these to anyone who hates to iron pants like I do."

"I have been using the ones mom had used since I was about 10 years old so that makes their in service time 55 years. I bought these new ones because I wanted a few more stretchers. They are nice and the hanger is a good improvement. The lock/release mechanism is better than the old style. The only negative is they are rather wide at the narrow end. They need to be about 2 inches narrower. Guess they work ok for todays styles since the kids all wear the BABL pants. (Big A** Big Leg)"

"Great product, but Lehman's should write "Do Not Bend" on packaging. Product came bent out of shape."

"These actually do a better job than drying and ironing. These put less wear on the fabric, and you don't have the pocket and seam "lines" that can happen when you iron. My reason for not giving five stars is that they are too large for women's size 4 or less. Even on size 6 they leave a bulge in the seat and stretch out the narrower sections on the leg. Plus, they don't handle narrower legs with boot cut bottoms. But they work great for my husband's traditional cut pants -- especially for winter cords!!"
