"A great piece for the serious baker. I make all my breads from scratch and this bowl has been a great help. It's nice looking enough to catch the eye of most people and rises dough much quicker than the plastic containers I used before. I wash it out with baking soda and vinegar and scour anything sticky with course salt to keep it from getting scratched up. It takes a bit of extra care but is well worth it."

"I LOVE this bowl-I make several loaves of bread a week and this bowl is fantastic. What a difference it makes! I used to use metal or plastic bowls for my bread dough, but I won't use anything but this one from now on."

"I love this thing. I love homemade bread but hate the mess. Now I can mix, knead and rise in one bowl. No more flour all over the counters and floor. It just looks pricey - this is an heirloom item. It will last a lifetime. As you use it, the grain and toolmarks start to emerge. I'm so glad I have it."

"I remember having to wait for my bowl. Due to flooding the wood for this couldn't be brought out. Wait I did, and the day it finally arrived I was very excited. Now everytime I make any kind of dough I use my bowl. I even put it in my Will. Love it."
