GRANDMA'S LYE BAR SOAP DESCRIPTION
"This is a superior alternative to store bought chemical-heavy soaps. It cleans very well and does not have a strong scent. It is gentle on the skin and cleans without irritating. It is also the longest lasting soap I have ever used. That, along with the peace of mind of knowing exactly what is in this product (water, lard, lye) makes it a worthwhile purchase." --Benjamin

"After 20+ years of adult acne, it is the only cleanser that has worked!" --A Satisfied Lehman's Customer

"I used lye soap to combat ticks and fleas while on weekend duty, in the woods, with the Army National Guard. Those critters do not like lye soap, but I surely like it. "

"Try it, you'll like it. I had damaged my hands by using a wood bleach on a project and did not have my rubber gloves as they had worn out and I needed to get the project done. Thinking it couldn't be too hard on my skin I went ahead and used it without protection. I made my first mistake! Using regular store soap to try and nullify the damage done by washing the bleach off did nothing, except to dry out my hands even further. I read about the soothing effect lye soap has on skin and thought what the heck. Try it and see. I am the continual cynic; if it is too good to be true it probably is! Well, I have been proved wrong for only the second time since first grade! This soap works. I will be using it instead of the store bought soap from now on. Thank you!"

"Love this mild soap! I haven't had to buy sensitive skin soaps since discovering it - even for my face. Just need to keep the bar dry between uses as it doesn't have the chemical hardeners of some commercial products."

"Love it! I can shower with it and not sneeze or get ichy like I do with most homemade soaps. I also ordered it because I was nostalgic, as many great-grandma used to make it. My cats tolerate the scent much better than perfumed soaps and don't shy away when I go to pet them."

"I watched this product for a long time and kept putting off buying it because of the price. $5. doesn't seem like much but I'm stocking 4 bathrooms. I finally jumped in and bought some at a local store. All 3 of my children have psoriasis and to be honest if I hadn't heard it would help psoriasis I doubt I would have bought it. Grandma's Lye Soap has proven to be of excellent quality, a good financial choice as the bars last a long, long time and all 3 of my sons tell me it has helped the itching of psoriasis. Grandma's Lye Soap is at present the only soap I stock in our bathrooms, though I am learning Zote is good too. I very much like this product."

"Plain and Simple, Just like Grandma Daugherty used to make. Last as long as 3 bars of regular soap and works better than any name brand out there."
