"Fantastic product. The first time I used the soap it removed a stain on my skin caused by a chemical I used several years ago. Now my hands are a more natural color. "

"Fantastic product. We were a little apprehensive when we opened the box. The soap has a strong odor, but it doesn't after use. Great lather, washes of clean and leaves skin soft. Have been using most every day the last two weeks and the bar looks like it might last another two. I work hard in the yard on the weekends and it works great to remove the dirt, grime and odor that comes with it. I might try some on my head as it has claims to prevent baldness. If it will keep me from losing the rest of my hair it would be worth it. lol Highly recommend this product. "

"I am a CSR at Lehmans. I have eczema and I was using a prescription for it, until a customer told me his dermatologist suggested he try the pine tar soap. I started using it about a year ago and have never used my prescription since. It won't work immediately, you need to give it time, but it works great! I love it!"

"This soap is the GREATEST!!! I have been ordering this soap continuously for the last couple of years! My husband, who works servicing various machinery, sewage pumps and gets EXTREMELY Dirty and Strong smelling. This soap cuts through ALL the dirt and grime easily! The scent is masculine not perfumery. He is like a new man after a shower. Now I am even buying the shampoo. Thank You Lehman's!"

"My daughter has long, thick, fine hair, and unfortunately also has the scalp condition seborrheic dermatitis. I have tried everything, and the creams from the doctor work but then the flare ups after using the creams are worse, so I thought I'd give this a try. Let me say that it is the best product I have found. It works wonderfully. I wash her hair every other day with this product, and it has gone a long way. The smell is strong, but the fragrance in the hair is very light and seems to be gone by morning. Her hair has the most beautiful blond shine after using this, and of course has taken care of the dermatitis. Wonderful product, I recommend this to everyone who has skin or scalp conditions."

"This is a great soap for every day and for dry skin. It is wonderful to scrub a dog with when he gets "skunked"! It really helps remove the smell and oil from the skunk spray. I will order it again."

"Do not get pine oil soap instead. This is the real deal and it smells great, gets you clean, works for shaving, and helps alot with dry skin/ skin problems. If Chuck Norris were soap, he would be lucky to match this stuff!!"

"Most likely the best soap produced today. I keep a bar in my shower and a second in my backpack/bug-out-bag. I've always had a bit of a problem with flaky skin - or at least I *did*. The smell is great, too, and is natural enough as not to spook game downwind."

"Years ago after visiting a local museum gift shop, I became interested in Grampa's Pine Tar Soap. I picked it up, smelled it and loved the smell. I bought a bar of it. Brought it home, began using it........I liked it so much that I went back to the museum and bought 5 or 6 bars of the soap to hold me over during the winter, while the museum was closed. I use this on my face every day, and have for many years. I have received compliments on my "nice" complexion. My complexion was not always nice, and i'd tried every other type of cleanser out there, with unsatisfactory results. It's almost time for me to go back to the museum (come spring), and get some more. Thank You, Kathie"

"Excellent in curing my dogs constant skin irritation you have to keep at the baths and leave it on for a bit before rinsing it off.. and quick baths washing just the affected area.. once you get under control you can bath on a regular schedule using this soap"

"Best soap I have ever used and it works great as shampoo, took care of a minor dandruf problem and left my hair and beard softer than most conditioners. Best of all it has a pleasant masculine smell"

"I've used this soap for quite some time now and got to say I haven't found anything better. Some people don't like the smell but I think it's great...very outdoorsy. One issue, if you use white wash cloths don't expect them to stay white."

"After showering just twice, I saw less and less "grime" residue in the drain. It's really does get you squeaky clean. And it does help with psoriasis. I use it as a shampoo and shaving cream."

"I used both the soap and shampoo, and have never felt as clean. The soap has even caused a severe case of Shingles that I have had on my right thigh for years to go away!"

"The shampoo and bar soap are both excellent. We live in the woods and use these items regularly during the warm months to keep the bugs away when we're outside. It works wonderfully, cleans up dirty kids beautifully, and smells great. The whole family loves it. Also, it doesn't dry out our skin like other soaps do. All around great product."

"This soap is very strong at cleaning but has a VERY strong scent. My husband cleans chimneys for a living and comes home black as tar with creosote smell, he showers with this soap and it gets him clean. But, the odor of the soap is much like the creosote he's trying to wash off. The smell does go down the drain and he comes out clean, but he doesn't like the smell while washing. "

"Soap works great. It took care of my dry skin in a short amount of time. Went camping after I started using it and I was the only one not combating mosquitoes. I can't say I am as much a fan of the smell as others seem to be. It is pretty strong. My family can't stand it so I am not "allowed" to keep it in the shower."

"I purchased a few bars to try it out. The scent is very strong of smoky tar (no noticeable pine scent). The scent was too unpleasant for my family to leave in the shower, so back to Lehman's they go. It may be great soap, but be prepared for a strong and possibly unpleasant scent. Sorry Lehman's for not providing a more positive review. "
