"We decided to do a kitchen remodel and, unfortunately, replaced our old electric cook top. Our new GE cook top runs insanely hot, so much so that any setting eventually reaches boiling temperatures. If I didn't have my SimmerMats simmering anything would be impossible. I highly recommend a SimmerMat for anyone with a similar stove top problem."

"I live in the country and have a gas stove converted to propane. The conversion costs the stove top all of it's low end settings and simmering was impossible until I started to use this mat. I have tried several different styles of mats and this one is the only one that gives me a true simmer. Thank you Lehman's for a wonderful product. Each cook in may family is getting one for Christmas this year."

"Bought my simmer mat last summer. Love it! At canning time I can now cook large pots of soups or spaghetti sauce without scorching. Also works wonderful under my whistling tea kettle (also from Lehman's). I have purchased three additional simmer mats and will be giving them to family members as Christmas gifts. Great product!!"

"My parents have one of these on their gas range and use it a lot. We have only good things to say about it."

"I'm vegan and eat lots of bean dishes. Since I bought the simmer mat, I can just put on the beans and leave them until they begin to thicken, and even then, I rarely need to stir. This little gadget has unchained me from the kitchen! Judy"

"This is, undoubtedly, one of the best items I've ordered! Finally able to complete a meal without foods sticking to the cooking container! Am going to order another one! "

"I LOVE my SimmerMats. They're actually more of a simmer "plate" -- they get my pots up off the heat, and I've been able to simmer all kinds of things -- even OATMEAL without burning, scorching, or sticking."

"This is a must for anyone on a propane stove! I've found it perfect for sauces, soups and beans and even breakfast oatmeal or grits! The only time it failed me was when I used my one small simmer burner. That burner was low enough with the propane to not need the mat. "

"Not for ceran cook tops. I used the simmer mat, points down, to simmer soup on the lowest possible setting on my glass cook top. The soup boiled dry, the mat left pits in the cook top where the points came in contact with it, (as if the top melted) and seems to have removed the shiny surface of the cook top under the mat. "
