It's so simple, and it works. Keep up to 2 gallons of water or other beverages cool in our old-time stoneware cooler. When filled with cold liquid, the natural cycle of condensation and evaporation keeps contents cool. It's ideal for reunions, barbeques, and receptions - any gathering where drinks are needed for a crowd (and beware: your relatives and friends will ask to borrow it).
  • Eye-catching, hand-thrown stoneware cooler is a natural beige color with traditional blue stripes
  • Lead-free
  • Heavy, durable lid
  • Durable plastic spigot included
  • Holds up to 2 gallons
  • 11-3/4"H x 8-1/2"OD
  • 11 lb
  • USA made

Note: Will hold hot beverages, but will not keep them hot for a long period of time. As with all pottery, avoid extreme temperature changes as cooler may crack.

HERITAGE BLUE STRIPE STONEWARE WATER COOLER DESCRIPTION
"My sweetheart bought this for me a couple years ago and I can't believe how much use it gets. Hot chocolate for the family in the winter, punch at the family get together, ice water in the summer, I LOVE it!" --Gregory

"I have been using this crock to make cold-brewed iced tea in the refrigerator. It's working beautifully well so far. The 2 gallon size is easy enough for me to lift on to the top shelf of the refrigerator when full." --Matthew

"I have been using this crock to make cold-brewed iced tea in the refrigerator. It's working beautifully well so far. The 2 gallon size is easy enough for me to lift on to the top shelf of the refrigerator when full. I just put 2 oz. of loose tea leaves in a drawstring muslin bag and let it brew for 8-10 hours, either before I go to bed, or when I leave for work in the morning. I have ice tea when I wake up or get home from work for the next 2 days. There was a little leak at first until I tightened the spigot down. I'm also keeping a towel under it in the refrigerator. It's also proving to be MUCH tougher than the thin glass "Beverage Jar" I picked up from the local thrift store which broke after two weeks. I'm sticking with the thicker-walled glazed ceramics from now on!"

"Got this on a whim. Best purchase we could have made! We filter our water so this makes a great place to keep the finished water for the day. The only reason for 4 stars is that the nozzle/tap is plastic--would have preferred metal."
