Nothing brings the country to a kitchen or bathroom sink like our whimsical glass soap dispenser. Simple, stylish jars easily hold and dispense your favorite soaps and lotions and look charming on any counter. Durable plastic pumps and snugly fitting metal lids prevent spills. Heavy glass features embossed letters and tiny imperfections for a truly vintage look and feel. Made in India.

  • Reproduction blue-green Mason pint jar with black lid and pump
  • "Patent Nov. 30th 1858" embossed on front
  • 8"H
  • 1 lb
  • Holds 16 oz
Helpful Hint: When filling your jar with soap, make sure you only fill the jar 2/3 full. If you fill it completely full, the pump will leak through the top because there's no room for air to move.

"I love how this dispenser looks. The weight is nice. I looks great on my sink! However, it is in a spare bathroom and doesn't get a lot of use. I splurged on this and on clear lavender soap to fill it. After a few months the soap looked a lil different color. I could see rust all over the inside of lid. The same rust prevented me from opening the jar altogether. I will call customer service. If no help I probably won't be ordering anything else from this company. Shame to because I like a lot of things on this website. "

"The idea is great. The execution is poor. The metal parts rust, first shedding rust particles into the soap, then totally disintegrating. Throwing away the product that was purchased to eliminate the throw-away pump bottle is not helpful. This would be a great product if manufactured from quality materials. I would pay more for something that would last. It appears that the pump is only sold with a ball jar, which is also unfortunate, as re-purposing old jars is also useful. "

"I really like the way this soap dispenser looks, but I sure wish I had read the reviews before purchasing it. it was a splurge for me to spend this much $ on a soap dispenser. It definitely leaks and makes a mess."

"Do not get these if you have stone or granite counters, they leak, stick & break. And over time the black enamel screw on top starts to chip and rust."

"I have tried many, many jar soap dispensers at the kitchen sink (no dishwasher) and none came anywhere near to being as good as this one. I am so glad I spotted this one in the catalog."

"I too, bought just the lids/pumps and they leaked badly. I ended up applying a silicone gel/glue to the inside of the lid and the top of the jar and screwing them on. Will have to fill the bottles by removing the pump, but not leaks. Disappointed these were not sold with a gasket."

"I bought this quite some time ago and thought I'd figure out how to overcome this stupid leaking thing. I tried the 2/3 full idea (actually 1/2) and, it leaks! So, I thinned the soap down with water. Now it leaks thin soap. It always has a mess on my sink and I have really come to hate it. As soon as what's left in the jar is gone, I'm moving on to some other kind of dispenser. I hate that too, because I really love the way it looks (when it doesn't have soap streaming down the side and through the top)!"

"I really wanted to buy these, but after reading the reviews & getting a consensus from them, AND after talking with a niece who had some like these, there's no way I'm risking my $ on them. Please, Lehman's, start selling them w/a gasket so they can be the quality product you usually sell."

"having read that the jar leaked badly [it did] I located a thin piece of rubber and fashioned a gasket. While holding w. one hand and tightening with the other ... the bottom of the bottle broke out. I'm sad as it is most attractive!!"
