"I use this for boiling down sugar free jam. The slope allows me to use my 10" stainless lid. Handles 3 qts strawberries or blueberries. I start cooking covered on medium heat over a heat tamer adding berries as I chop. When all berries are in I simmer uncovered, stirring. Takes about 20-30 min. Round shape is easy to stir or scrape with a heat resistant spatula. Jam with added sugar can scorch in granite ware even with a heat tamer unless you scrape constantly and mind the heat. But for small batches hot pack tomato or hot pack sugar free fruit, on a heat tamer, it is perfect. I love it. "

"My first one arrived chipped and you replaced it immediately. I received the new one three days later. It is for an outdoor washstand being made by my husband. Thank you all at Lehman's for great service and products as always."

"use this all the time for everything ... popcorn, harvesting, washing & snapping beans, saoaking soar feet ... even for doing dishes during a black-out! Wish lehman's would bring these back -- I need a couple more of them but can't find them anyplace else for a decent price."
