"This is a very nice lamp. No instructions, but easy to figure out. Mounting hardware included. It looks great in our 1880s home. We will need to buy more."

"I have just received my first Cast Iron Victorian Oil Lamp System in Cobalt Blue, #36SET, and the very-similar cast-brass Wall Bracket Oil Lamp Frame, #10580. I wanted to compare the two and see if both appeared authentic (I used to have an original cast-iron wall bracket,) find out which bracket offered the longest reach from the wall, and whether the mercury mirror made that much difference in the amount of light output. The cast-iron bracket, which is identical in every detail to my antique one, and cobalt lamp, are mounted above the desk in my office. I was pleasantly surprised! The arrangement gives off a soft golden light which is comparable to a 40-watt bulb. I even found that my old #23 Aladdin glass font fits it nicely, because it has a longer reach than the brass bracket. The burner sits a bit too high for the mercury mirror, but the mirror is vertically adjustable up to the correct height for my Aladdin! I am so impressed with this cast-iron bracket that I plan to purchase several more PAIRS of them in the near future to mount on either side of doorways! My philosophy has long been that anything with the Lehman's name on it is an automatic collector's item!"

"This lamp is as beautiful in person as pictured. The cast iron is black, not green like I thought I saw in the photo. My only complaint, I've had to wedge small chunks of wood between the cup holding the blues glass and the iron hanger sticking out from the wall to keep the glass lantern level. I tightened the screw in the bottom of this "cup" and it still has enough wiggle room to lean to the side. I don't mind, though, because it gets lots of compliments and the post doesn't get warm like I worried it might. A beautiful soft light for the bathroom."
