WHITE MOUNTAIN 6-QT HAND-CRANKED ICE CREAM FREEZER DESCRIPTION
Cast iron gear drive-Exclusive three-gear "Triple Action" drive thoroughly mixes the cream, ensuring a smooth texture and fast, even freezing. (Electric models use twin precision steel gears.)

Wooden Tub-New England pine slats (1/2" thick) are bound with tight galvanized hoops and electroplated fittings to ensure lasting stability.

Stainless Steel Can-Warranted for five full years! Tall and narrow design brings more of the cream into contact with cold can for faster freezing. Cast aluminum lid.

Dasher and Blades-Solid cast iron dasher won't give out as cream hardens. Like all the fixtures, it's nickel-plated for corrosion resistance. Beech blades self-adjust to scrape inside of cream can thoroughly and will not split, chip or warp in the dishwasher.

"Unlike the other commenter, mine works flawlessly. I suspect if you called Lehman's and described the problem, they would make it right. I bought mine in the store. It is worth the visit!"

"Do not buy the hand crank model. The gears on the crank are awful and do not fit together well and slip. You must continuously press in the crank to engage the gears while at the same time avoid the device from slipping out of the side latches. Just turning the crank without these gymnastics requiring 2 people to do it will not rotate the drum thereby not freezing your mixture. Very very disappointing for a product made in the US."
