"I love this clock! I love the ticking and the fact that I don't have to pay for batteries or worry about the electric going off and changing the time! But I have a tip, wind the clock when you get up and when you go to bed. I have found that if I do that the alarm and clock will stay wound and it won't stop running. My first one they sent me would not ring, but I told them about it and asked what I should do and without asking too, they sent me a whole new one and let me keep the one that did not work. and I have had this one since Dec. 28th 2012, and it works great! THANK YOU SO MUCH LEHMAN'S! Great customer service! "

"I initially loved this alarm clock. I am a extremely heavy sleeper . this clock is loud and defiantly startles you into consiousness. i used it for 4 years before I unforgettably knocked it over.I wish the wind up cycle was longer."

"The clock works perfectly. Two things: 1) Remember to wind it; and 2) sleep in the next room (it's loud)."

"I purchased this alarm clock for my grandson, so he wouldn't be late to his college classes. It works wonderfully, and I can hear it all the way in my room. I would certainly buy it again as a gift or for myself. Thanks Lehman's"

"I like the soothing ticking noise this clock makes, and it's good to help soothe young animals too, like young kittens. I've bought 2 so far. The first one was defective and broke immediately when I first tried to wind it. Lehman's replaced it promptly without problem. The second one lasted for a year and a half before it died for good. In defense of the product, I should point out that it probably should not be dropped on the floor as many times as I dropped it, which was a lot. The time seemed to run a bit slow, but I never played with the adjustment option on the back. It does have to be wound frequently--it claims it's a 36 hour clock but it's better to just wind it once every day. The alarm is loud; I don't see how anyone could sleep through that. I like this clock because it's ticking helps me fall asleep, and because it's a useful non-battery, non-electricity back-up in case the power goes down in my area. I plan to buy another one. I'll try not to drop this one so much, but no promises!"

"You cannot see the luminous hands at night. It is a glorified tin can."

"Although I really appreciate the quiet ticking sound of this simple yet elegant clock, within the first few weeks of using it, it would stop, even though it had been wound only hours before. After another month, it got to the point where I could only wind it one revolution (instead of the 4-5 when first used), meaning that I had to wind it every few hours to keep working. I would not purchase another one."

"This clock fell apart after only one month of use. The screws that held the bells on fell inside the clock and the bells fell off. I mailed it back to Lehman' with the receipt and they refunded the original cost and return shipping. Bad clock but great customer service."

"This clock has not been up to our expectation. The alarm on the first one did not work and it was promptly replaced. The fast slow adjustment on the replacement almost immediately broke off and the windup mechanism broke after about 1 1/2 years during which time the clock was rarely used because we don't often need to get up by alarm. I definitely would not buy another one."
