"This is one of those books that - when you read it - you find yourself smacking the palm of your hand on your forhead and saying "Now why didn't I think of that?" Logical, practical, simple. Easy to read, easy to carry out. I recommend this to everyone I know who has a desire to grow things."

"I read this book last spring and couldn't wait to get started on my own square foot garden! The book and directions are easy to follow, and I had no problem finding everything I needed. Most of my two square foot gardens were heirloom veggies and they turned out perfect. I also grew some herbs. My neighbors were really impressed with my gardens and hoped to start their own this year. This year, I plan to use the same two square foot gardens that I used last year. By the way, I live in the city, but had plenty of room for two square foot gardens."

"The book has many good ideas if you want a garden for just table eating. If you are wanting to can for a year's supply of food for your family it requires too much enlargement."
