"Lid seems very well made but a little on the expensive side. Some confusion on the order department side with a confusing email."

"Product is very well made. I wish they would put size of item with description. It is a little large - an inch or two. Need to remove center guide board and make it shorter so it will fit into crock. Other than that the product is very nice."

"Got 1 gal. Good wood, but the inside board does not reach across the crock. The lid just sits on top. The slightest vibration and the lid slides to one side leaving about 3/4 inch gap for anything to fall into the crock. NOT GOOD IDEA. I used to have crocks that the inside was not just a short board but an smooth one piece lid that fitted inside the crock and held it in place."
