"Great quality, very tough. Nearly identical to Plow & Hearth's model, but about HALF the price !!! We heat with wood so it gets used a lot. I've carried in a couple of dozen loads & am impressed. If a log carrier doesn't have the handles wrapped around the whole carrier, like this one, it's going to fail soon, and dramatically --probably breaking a couple of toes. At the moment I have it full of about 25 lb of tools & parts to haul down to the basement to replace the hot water heater. An excellent tool bag, too -- so don't limit its use to just firewood. I suspect it would be a great bag to take to the farmer's market, just to load up with fruits & vegetables. I also have the model without the closed ends. It is great, too, but this "closed box" design is rapidly becoming one of my favorite all-purpose tools."

"I've been using this for a couple years now. It is great! It keeps the bark and small bits of wood contained and the large one holds a lot! The fabric is extra strong and durable industrial material. It isn't just canvas. Very pleased."

"I've only been using the tote for a week and am happy to say "it is just what I've been looking for." The stand alone feature is great for filling. It keeps not only around the fireplace clean, it keeps the path to the fireplace clean, No more chips and shavings on the floor or on me....Happy customer!"

"I love this log carrier. Have one at our cabin, and just ordered a second one for our home. The closed ends keep all the mess inside so it is easy to keep the wood where you want it, rather than all over the house. Excellent price for a really nice product."

"LOVE this bag so much, we bought one for our son who is just installing his own woodstove! Ours has lasted over ten years of constant winter-time use. Love Lehman's courteous, professional service!"

"Great price for a high-quality product. Wide nylon handles are easy on my hands, and it stands alone, so it's simple to fill at the woodpile. Best of all, it keeps the mess contained! This product delivers value for the money paid."

"Perfect--exactly what we were looking for. This tote holds as many logs as I can carry, and it keeps the bark and woodchips contained. It basically holds enough wood to burn in our small stove for a day. It seems very tough, and it stands up on its own--making loading it very convenient."

"I am really liking my new nylon log carrier. I wish I had gotten one years ago. It's very strong. It carries as many logs as I can lift and more. It has saved many trips outside and up and down steps. I have even used it to move a couple of old heavy computer monitors which I had dreaded moving. Thank you Lehmans! I am very glad I ordered this."

"I bought it to carry vintage sewing machines which are cast iron and quite heavy and it works great. Am buying another to tote logs. Nice multipurpose item. I would prefer that the webbing went all the way around to support the weight, but so far so good."

"We bought two new large wood carriers to replace our old one which we have had "forever" and used daily with HEAVY loads of wood. I was disappointed to see that the material on the new ones is thinner than that of our old one, and I agree with a previous commenter that the handle straps should go all the way around the carrier's bottom for strength and durability (the strap stitching is what finally failed on our old carrier... though the cloth has held up fine, so I am having the straps re-sewn...)"

"Bought this tote after looking at several others online and reading the reviews here. I haul a lot of big loads down to the basement and was a little disappointed to find that the webbing straps do not go all the way around on this the tote. Also, there are sewn seams where the sides meet the bottom, rather than one continuous piece. More construction details would be good in the description. I do not expect this to hold up to the weight and abuse I need it to, but we'll see."
