"I purchased this grinder specifically to grind spices and herbs and it's performance is exceptional. As advertized by Lehman's, the grind is adjustable from fine to coarse, which I found to true and the grinder is easily adjustable for various grinds. It's a valued addition to my kitchen."

"In regards to the previous review, this is clearly labeled a flaxseed grinder, and a tablespoon of flaxseed half fills the little hopper. Why it would be reviewed for grinding corn is a mystery. If you want to grind corn, get a grain mill with a meaningfully sized hopper & appropriate mill design. If you want to hand grind flaxseed, this is The One, & I have looked at many. The tablespoon of seed grinds in less than a minute, producing nearly three tablespoons of fluffy, perfectly ground flax meal. Took 60-75 turns of the crank @ ~ 90-100 rpm. The clamp will fit on a 2" thick table or counter edge. The box label & grinder body show 'Weston' as the brand. It appears practically hand made in some respects but is solid, well tinned, functional & clean. No 'safety' issues observed. Enjoy, & thanks to Lehman's for carrying this good product."

"This product turned my corn green. It appears to grind wheat OK. Corn came out green. Same corn in Nutrimill came out perfect yellow. This product appears unsafe."
