"Just received this fork on May 2, 2013. I was looking for a well constructed piece to dig double dug raised beds...I drove 90 miles one day and could not find anything worth my $$; UNTIL NOW! This thing is a monster and is well constructed, solid built welded steel. Tested it for a few minutes and tore up soil in a 4ft x 4ft area in about 3 minutes."

"Not for the faint of heart. Trust me this tool is HEAVY but it sure does get the job done! We cleared out 6 raised beds in only a couple of hours. Saves wear and tear on your back."

"We gave two Garden Forks for Christmas gifts, and what a hit they were! The SUV of garden tools, per my brother. The large handle is especially welcome, as are the rectangular tines. I should have ordered one for myself."

"Without question, this is the best built hand tool I've ever purchased! I looked at other hand tools before buying this one. All were imported. All cost just as much as this one did. All were of extremely poor quality compared to this line of hand tools. This tool is made in the USA by Americans! This fork will still be working after generations of use. I'm really glad to have found this line of tools. I won't buy anything else from now on. Thank you, Lehman's!!!"

"I love this fork ! My other forks, the fork fell off the handle every time I used them. I was wondering if anybody made a fork solid, then I got my Lehman's catalog and there it was !"

"Tore into two gardens when I got the fork and it did a super job of cultivating to several inches, as a matter of fact, I was able to break up the top soil down to the clay under it."

"At first the fork looks strong and heavy duty, but I used it the first time to break up some hard packed snow, not ice, because I had a drop cord under it and needed to find the end of the cord. I was able to break up the snow to find the end of the cord which was good, but noticed that 1 of the end tines was bent out. I'm now worried when I will be using it in my garden soil this summer. I have been looking for a place that may be able to heat treat the metal to make it stronger. Not sure why this product was not heat treated any way."

"This fork is deceiving. It looks really tough, but it BENDS. It is made of soft, weldable steel, and has not been tempered. While prying up some tough dirt, two tines were under a hidden rock and they came up bent. No I did not abuse the fork, and no I don't weigh 300 pounds. It was EASILY bent back in shape using a vise, which confirmed to me that it has NO temper--so it will easily fail and bend again when in a tough spot. There are much better forks out there---I will look for another---I lost on this purchase......"

"Agree with 9/16/2013 reviewer -- The look of this fork is deceptive -- It bent easily in fairly dry red clay (no rocks to hook under). Finished the job using two Craftsman forks made in Austria. Paid for one got the second as a free replacement. Use this "Super Garden Fork" in previously dug areas only. Purchased in July but only got to use it after my 30 day return period. "
