"I've inherited an old ~night watch Dietz lantern~ from a Great Uncle..I'm thinking it's from the early 1900s...I've been using it every summer that we go camping. I get so many compliments on it and would just love to find out exactly how antiquish it is...if anyone has any information as to how I can find this out..please let me know...Thanx!"

"Love the look, the fill is different as the reservoir twists off the bottom and that is also the way to light them. We got them to hang in the yard and they sure look good out there. Just very different from what a Dietz owner is used to."

"A quality lantern with railroad styling. Although not an exact replica of a railroad lantern, this lantern captures the style."

"I used this lamp for the first time the 2nd day from arrival. I lit the lamp early in the morning and let it go through out the day. The oil lasted quite a while however the glass did not. The glass cracked all the way from bottom to top. It was not moved nor jarred, so I have to assume the heat cracked it. I will not buy another. Unfortunately, I purchased two."
