Genuine Aladdin lamp oil is odor-free, clean-burning and distilled for purity. Aladdin recommends using only kerosene or Aladdin Lamp Oil for their lamps, and only pure Aladdin lamp-oil burns odor free. Kerosene can leave an oily, unpleasantly chemical odor.

"Best lamp oil! Burns with no odor and no smoke even after burning for 8 hours!" --A Satisfied Lehman's Customer

"Awesome. Much better than any other oil I've tried. All the others ran us out of the house but I can burn this for hours with virtually no odor problems. I'll be using my oil lamps more now." --A Satisfied Lehman's Customer

"I has tried Medallion, Klean Heat, and now Aladdin lamp oil and there is no contest. The Medallion is by far the smelliest of the three and gives me a headache. The Klean Heat smells with no headaches, and the Aladdin oil has very little smell and no headaches. As a matter of fact it doesn't put off any more odor than my gas central air heating system. Highly recommended if using indoors."

"I have been using paraffin oil for the longest time thinking it was the only option that I could use without the smell of kerosene. This product rocks as it puts out much more light than the paraffin and has very little odor when it burns. A great buy and one I will continue to use in all of my oil lamps."

"This is the best lamp oil you can buy if you don't want to get the offense kerosene odor when burning and just want a good pure, high quality clear lamp oil. I have a very low tolerance for the kerosene smell indoors before I get a splitting headache and while this oil is not 100% odorless it is very close (something like 95% odorless) and I have no issues with it indoors and I use it often for hours on end. Again I can often pick up on smells others say they can't smell and this is the ONLY oil I can use and be happy. I like it for my outdoor lanterns too. Not the cheapest thing out there but it is the best in my opinion. You can't go wrong with this."

"I love this lamp oil, it doesn't have any odor to it, and it makes the mantles last a lot longer. It's the best you can buy."

"This lamp oil is NOT 100% odorless indoors. It smells less than KleanHeat does, but it still emits a smell. Whether you'll find it objectionable or not probably depends on how confined the room you plan to burn it in is."

"Sorry, but I just received my lamp oil and was excited to use with my Dietz lantern. This stuff stinks and is hurting my nostrils. I had to put it out and open the windows. Forced to bring back my homemade olive oil lamp. Maybe this is meant to be for outdoors only."
