"I live in eastern Pennsylvania and I run 3 Aladdin Oil lamps for both heat & the wonderful light. I rely on Lehman's now to deliver Aladdin brand oil to me. This Aladdin high-quality distilled oil is difficult to find here, and Lehman's - being the closest purveyor I trust - always delivers promptly and safely. The Aladdin lamp really does require this oil to burn cleanly and well. They are great lamps when the power goes out! Thank you Lehman's! "

"Needing to decide between the two oils sold online at Lehman's, I decided on this one for its lower odor and quality name."

"Great oil. We have 3 lamps and don't notice any odor during or after use. This is now the only oil we use in the lamps."

"Obviously from other reviews, we all have different smelling sensitivities. For me any odor was minimal at best and not objectionable at all. What was pleasing was a clean burning light that just speaks of home and family. Also, well packaged with a really short delivery time."

"I have asthma and wanted to see if I could tolerate an oil lamp indoors. I had no problem sitting in front of a lamp burning Aladdin Lamp Oil for several hours. This really is a great product! I have had to stop using candles because of my asthma."

"It is good to know I can find Aladdin Brand Fuel here since very few places sell any Aladdin products In Washington. I will only use this kind of fuel since it will not potentially damage the burner or clog up the wick like commonly stocked "lamp oil" will. Also, Lehman's is a good place to deal with, my purchase of Aladdin fuel was damaged during shipment and returned. When I called in to report what happened, Lehman's was quick to replace and ship my order back out. Thanks guys."

"Bought 3 lanterns after super storm Sandy. I bought a gallon of this fuel after reading all the good reviews. I agree this Aladdin Lamp oil burns very clean & you can hardly smell it indoors. I highly recommend this for indoor use. "

"Great lamp fuel but beware of the Pump the sell on this site to go with the gal jug. I have found nothing but problems with it spitting and spattering fuel when being pumped. I have found the only safe way to use this is to rap the pump handle and shaft in paper towls and dispose of them safely after each use. I am going to look else where for a better pump to despence the fuel in to the tamks more safely."

"I bought 2 gallons & I am very pleased with this product. I also confirm that this product burns brighter than the refined liquid parafin oils. I will purchase this again & Lehman's does a great job w/shipping."

"living off the grid as we do, we find genuine Alladin lamp oil definitely works for us for those times when the solar/wind powered lights need time off for maintenance. No(detectable)odor, and with the wick on low, no smoke."

"Great oil. Burns clean with no odor. Great during storms when all the windows are closed. If wick is kept low, there is virtually no smoke."

"I use this not just in my lamps but also in my woodtsove. I have a nifty fire-lighter which is a porous ceramic ball on an iron rod. You bathe the ball in lamp oil and ignite it under some firewood. It will burn for about 10 minutes, reliably starting a fire every time!"

"I has tried Medallion, Klean Heat, and now Aladdin lamp oil and there is no contest. The Medallion is by far the smelliest of the three and gives me a headache. The Klean Heat smells with no headaches, and the Aladdin oil has very little smell and no headaches. As a matter of fact it doesn't put off any more odor than my gas central air heating system. Highly recommended if using indoors."

"I have been using paraffin oil for the longest time thinking it was the only option that I could use without the smell of kerosene. This product rocks as it puts out much more light than the paraffin and has very little odor when it burns. A great buy and one I will continue to use in all of my oil lamps."

"This is the best lamp oil you can buy if you don't want to get the offense kerosene odor when burning and just want a good pure, high quality clear lamp oil. I have a very low tolerance for the kerosene smell indoors before I get a splitting headache and while this oil is not 100% odorless it is very close (something like 95% odorless) and I have no issues with it indoors and I use it often for hours on end. Again I can often pick up on smells others say they can't smell and this is the ONLY oil I can use and be happy. I like it for my outdoor lanterns too. Not the cheapest thing out there but it is the best in my opinion. You can't go wrong with this."

"This lamp oil is NOT 100% odorless indoors. It smells less than KleanHeat does, but it still emits a smell. Whether you'll find it objectionable or not probably depends on how confined the room you plan to burn it in is."

"Sorry, but I just received my lamp oil and was excited to use with my Dietz lantern. This stuff stinks and is hurting my nostrils. I had to put it out and open the windows. Forced to bring back my homemade olive oil lamp. Maybe this is meant to be for outdoors only."
