This simple yet effective tool was born in the 1920s when a Norwegian carpenter discovered that his carpenter’s plane did a dandy job of slicing his lunchtime cheese. Nothing else slices semi-hard to hard cheeses (like cheddar and gouda) more smoothly or uniformly.
  • Wooden handle
  • Stainless steel blade
  • 8-3⁄4"L
  • Taiwan

"The cheese plane makes a nice thin slice of cheese and the handle is comfortable to hold. I like this cheese slicer because it does not take up much room in my kitchen drawer and it is easy to clean. I will probably buy several more of these for Christmas stocking stuffers."

"I own one of these and it is 1000x better than those wire cheese slicers that break so easily and/or cannot slice thinly enough for sandwiches. I didn't even know these existed until my husband got me one last year."
