"I had a very nice wooden 3x5 recipe box that my grandmother had given me. It's getting harder and harder to find that size of cute recipe cards so I order the 4x6 box from Lehmans. The box is very nicely made. I love the top for holding the cards while mixing up the recipes. It should last for many years."

"For Christmas, I copied many family recipes (some 2 generations old!) and put them in this box for my daughter. The box is SO well-made; really nice, and the area to hold the recipe card on top while using is a great idea."

"I bought the oak recipe box to use as a address card box, I had been looking for one for a while and this fits the bill perfectly, I love it, now I need one for my recipe cards. It is a great looking box put together nicely too."

"This recipe box is beautifully made. I like the hidden hinges and the way the top can hold a card. The finish is very smooth. All around a lovely hand crafted item. I'm happy with my purchase! Thanks for offering this 4 x 6 size."

"For my niece's bridal shower in the groom's hometown, I sent this recipe box with a number of family recipes (on the retro recipe cards Lehman's also offers). My sister said it was the hit of the shower! The groom's aunts especially pored over it, admiring the workmanship and exclaiming how it looked just like their mother's. They even asked my niece if it'd be okay to send some of their family recipes for the box too; she was thrilled. Now the recipe box holds a place of pride in the newlyweds' kitchen--I hear my niece relishes "redecorating" by choosing a different recipe card to display on the box's lid each day."
