"I have been using these plates daily for 3-4 years and am well satisfied with them. They are easy to carry because of their shape, and the rim is high enough that food doesn't slide off easily. There's enough weight to them that they feel substantial. They do fine on the bottom rack of my dishwasher - no warping or shrinking. The only visible wear is cut marks on one from sharp kitchen knives. And of course they don't break when I fumble and drop. They're outstanding!"

"Despite the description details listed for these plates, they do indeed melt in the microwave, and in fairness to the manufacturer, they are not stamped microwave safe. Googling the product's name comes up with plenty of sites detailing this problem. Unfortunately, I relied upon what Lehman's listed. Other than this huge flaw, the plates are nice and perfect for cold or room temperature eating."
