"It's true that walnuts are a bit large, though I've had good luck wedging them in to the end and holding them there. I haven't run across a walnut I can't crack this way. Otherwise, I would say this is a great value for something that is US Made. My five year old can use it easily and I haven't found a kind of nut that it won't crack easily. "

"This nutcracker works very well. It is quick and I didn't hurt myself at all (which has not been the case with other nutcrackers). Thank you for a very good product and American made."

"This is a really good nut cracker that even the grand-kids can use with ease. Why not Five Stars and a great nut cracker? The jaws are not wide enough to accept Walnuts. Everything else including Brazils snaps with ease."
