"2 years ago, I bought this filter to try to prove it was not worth the money and I failed. I have tried everything to beat this filter and still have not. You can put whatever you want in the upper chamber (except salt water)and you will get clean water out the lower spigot. You can put food coloring in the top chamber and the filters actually filter it out, which they recommend to test the filters. They are awesome. So you just can not beat these filters, I can not live without them now. Water just tastes so much better out of them. You will not be disappointed if you get this filter."

"I bought one of these for myself and one for each of my two daughters and family living out here on the Big Island. We've changed filters, but otherwise, the units are going strong after 4 years heavy daily use. I have the additional flouride et al filters, as we get acid rain from the volcanic emissions. I now need to replace spigots, as they leak. I use mine as a backup to municipal water, as I have a family childcare and wanted to ensure that the babies and young children had the best contaminant free water I can provide. Have also used this when living off power, on catchement water, in one of the city's outlying towns. I ended up buying an additional Big Berkey for use when we go outside. to play...well worth the peace of mind."

"We've been using our Berkey Light a few years now, filtering our well water for final filter because of high manganese content in local water. Highly recommend this unit. The food coloring test will simply amaze! Would feel more than confident to run raw collected rain water for consumption purposes in a pinch. And by the way, Lehman's ROCKS--great company to deal with, you won't be disappointed!!!"

"Delivered on time. Quality appears good. Hope that it is never needed. Purchased as a security measure for potentially troubled times."

"We have used the Berkey Light Water Filter for two weeks since it arrived. (Promply I might add) and are really enjoying the taste (as there is no taste, just water) Our County water that is provided in our area was undrinkable because of the taste and we have been purchasing 2 cases of bottled water per week for the past 6 years. I estimate we will pay for the unit in our first year and have great water also. Thanks Lehmans."

"I purchased the Berkey 1-1/2 yrs ago and it was the best investment in health possible!!! I used to have several colds with sore throat every year. Since drinking water from the Berkey, not a single cold or sickness. Any other water tastes horrible. City water smells like sewer, especially on weekends. Now the water tastes crisp and clean...LOVE IT!!! Highly recommend if you can't tell. :)"

"I am so excited about my new Berkey. It is all that the ad said it was. The filters are what's really impressive. There is a feeling of security knowing my family will have clean drinking water when the power goes out. Also, I could have purchased my cool blue water system anywhere, but I chose Lehman's because they are what great service is all about. Yes, I'd say I'm a happy camper."
