Argo Laundry Starch
Dec 16, 2017
I love the Argo Laundry Starch. I wish Lehman's could convince the manufactures to make it CRUNCHY like it was back in the day. Sales for this product would Sky Rocket. I wish my order would hurry up and get here. I placed an order last week. Please do not store it in places that have strong odors because it will absorb and take on that smell
Great Product/Quick Ship

I purchased the Argo Starch for two friends, one who crochets and wanted the starch for doilies, the other just likes Argo Starch and has not been able to find it anywhere. Good ole' Lehman's was there to save the day. Shipped extremely fast and priced reasonably, I have two friends that like me even more due to my diligence in searching for the Argo Starch.

I ordered some Argo from this same company and was not dissatisfied. The Argo starch is always packed neatly, no mess whatsoever. Not sure how but it is so fresh. I always open the Argo starch and place it in my fingertips to see if it is old. I tell you what,I rubbed it through my finger tips and it feels like silk. That starch is sooooooooo fresh. I love ordering my starch from Lehman's.

I ordered this for my 93 year old Grandmother who crochet's the most beautiful doilies, and she told me that she could no longer find this product anywhere, so I googled, and low and behold, I found it! Had it shipped directly to her, she is very happy. :)

This product is no longer available in local stores. I use it to starch handmade crochet doilies that are family heirlooms. I can adjust the thickness of the solution based on how I want to shape the doily.

I used this product years ago to do hand crocheted doilies. Couldn't find it in my local area - so glad to find it here. Being able to adjust the stiffness allows me to show off my handiwork to it's best advantage.

I am also going to use this for Living History. I do an impression of a Roman Catholic Nun, and ARGO starch is the ONLY thing that gives those head pieces the proper stiffness. For years bought it at WINN-DIXIE, a grocery store chain in the South. But due to nobody using starch anymore they stopped having it. Thank Goodness for Lehman's!!!
