I've grown these. They are slow to start but once going they don't stop. They are frost sensitive and will die out in northern winters. Too early to tell yet if they are weeds as each fruit has hundreds of seeds and you can't catch them all. Definitely a sprawler. If you don't keep it contained each plant will cover 6 to 9 square feet. Will not be growing these in the main garden next year they take up too much space. They are decorative enough to use in an informal landscape bed. For all that, they are tasty (it can be an acquired taste for some people though) and the critters tend to leave them alone.

I have eaten this fruit and know it is very delicious. Will it come back or freeze off in ND winter.
