Not a nice looking seat!

First off this isnt the stores fault well sort of because their name is cast on the seat but if i saw this type of quality and i was the purchaser for lehmans i would not have bought any of the seats! The casting looks like a 3 year old packed the sand and set up the mold the aluminum has holes and puddles so even if you want to clean it up and paint or polish the seat its impossible without hours and hours of sanding grinding filing and some bondo so polishing these seats is out of the question! We wanted to polish this seat for a show tractor for a customer i told the store this and asked if they could pick out the NICEST SEAT they had well if this was the nicest than lordy what the rest look like is anyones guess! I will give the store slack they didnt make it and the price was $20 cheaper than anyone else and shipping was fast but its not a guality seat! whoever cast this seat needs to stop and go back to making horseshoes.

A good quality, light weight,as in not heavy like cast iron seat. It is sturdy and does the job much better than the stamped steel seats currently available at the tractor store. I can see this seat working well for many years.

I needed a rugged seat for a milk stool. What is not mentioned in the description is that the seat has 4 leveling bumps on the bottom that prevents it from rocking when screwed down. I did not bother painting it but it does not seem to require it.

This is what we've been looking for. Our son built a bar with old barn wood & old fence posts. These seats will complete it

I just received the Cast Implement Seat. It was shipped very quickly - always something you can expect from Lehman's. Although the seat appears to be of very good quality and very sturdy, I was expecting it to be a smooth finish rather than the kind of rough finish that it has. When I originally looked at the photo I believed it to be a nice, shiny aluminum and not the dull, cast look that it has. I do plan to have it powder-coated to match the color of my riding lawn mower so I guess it really won't matter much after they sandblast and the power-coat the seat.
