Reduce, Reuse and Save
Tired of buying 100s of paper coffee filters every year? Replace them with this reusable "sock" and save up to 75 percent of that cost. Organic cotton coldbrew filter is simple to use, hassle-free and last 9-12 months. What's more, it produces a superior brew - smooth and rich in aromatic oils, with balanced acids - from the first use.
Before Using CoffeeSock™ Filters: Boil new filters in fresh water for 10 minutes to pre-shrink before first use. Filters will shrink slightly for the next few uses. This is normal and will produce best quality brew from then on.
How to Cold Brew Coffee: Add your freshly ground coffee, medium to coarse grind. Wet grounds thoroughly and let it sit for 60 seconds. Fill jar with cold water. Twist neck of filter, wrap tie string around neck a few times and slip neck of filter through glass ring. Allow to soak overnight in refrigerator for 12-16 hours. Remove filter and rest in mouth of jar to fully drain.
Continue to pour cold water over grounds, wetting thoroughly and maintaining a soak until desired quantity of water is depleted.
Replace filters when the richness of brew begins to decrease (typically last 9-12 months).
