Our chicken patties are freeze dried, so they can be stored long term and without needing refrigeration (lasts longer than dehydrated and traditional canned food!). Perfect for emergencies, just soak in water for at least 5-10 minutes, cook thoroughly, then enjoy.
Helpful Hint: Store a can opener with your chicken patties, so you have it when you need it.
Note: This meat is uncooked; do not consume raw.
1. Remove and discard desiccants and oxygen absorbers.
2. Rehydrate the chicken patties as soon as the can is opened with lukewarm slated water for 5-10 minutes until portions are soft, then drain off excess water, lightly pat dry.
3. Cook until the internal temperature reaches 165°F followed as standard by USDA and FSIS safety recommendations.
