I was really surprised that this was such a sturdy unit and the battery lasts so long! Have not tried the cell phone charger part yet, I have to get the adapter.

Got my radio out of box before big storm hit. Found that the cords are worthless! However, the flashlight is good and I like the cranking capability in the event of power outage. Thought I'd check out the website referenced on the box--IT'S DOESN'T EXIST!

Runs with very little effort and lasts much longer than anticipated. 5 Lanterns!

I was not happy with this item. The plugs are not compatable and it is hard to find a station.

I have one beside me now - It tunes just fine there is no dial it is digital. Buy some adapters if you want to recharge a phone. The cable is meant to charge the radio from a USB. The solar panel charges it in the sun in a day and I don't mind cranking when I go camping.

Eh. The radio tuning is completely messed up. It hits a physical stop before you get all the way to one end of the band. Reversing it all the way (about 10 turns) causes the problem to occur at the other end of the band, so you can always get to your station by going all the way to one end and back, but that is messed up. First you power on the device with a switch, then you hit the button on top (one of many identically sized buttons on top) that controls the flashlight. If you're sitting in the dark, this is not what you'd grab. If you're having an extended power-outage, then maybe the cranking ability would offset all the other disadvantages. The USB plug is a problem. It has a barrel plug on the device, and it comes with a cord that has a barrel plug on one end and a full-size USB male plug on the other. Does your phone have a full-size usb port? No. Can you use the USB cable that you would normally use to connect your device to your computer? No, because that cord has a male plug. If you were expecting a female plug on the crank device (like your computer has), you're out of luck. If you expected that their special cable would connect to your device, you're out of luck. I returned mine.
