I was interested in making butter from ﾓrealﾔ cream so I got this cream separator and took it to a dairy farm. I milked one cow and got a quart and a half of cream. It only took two of us one and a half hours from set-up to clean-up. It works great as long as the directions are followed. The separator DOES need to be level and bolted down. Using a 3-part oil is really helpful and the milk does need to be between 89 and 100 degrees. Temperature was not a problem for me since I took it straight from the cow to the separator. If you let the milk go to the tank, it will get cooled down before you get a hold of it. It's not ﾓsuper easyﾔ but it IS well worth the work involved. No review, just a comment. My grandparents had a manual separator that they used on a regular basis. It worked really well.
