Unfortunately from an engineering perspective, this is one if the worst products I've ever purchased. The springs aren't properly tempered which renders the devise non-functional and prone to fall apart. I finally just took it apart and used the rollers to build my own. For the cost, that's unacceptable.

My wringer does not have the wing nuts as shown, so if I want to adjust it I have to use 2 wrenches (as the bottom bolt turns with the top nut when I try to tighten it). It did need tightening when I tried the first few items, as they were still pretty damp especially at the edges.

We have only used the wringer a few times but so far are very happy. It was easy to assemble, to mount, and to crank. I like that the rollers automatically adjust to the thickness of what is being wrung. This wringer replaced hand-wringing and has made laundry a joy!

Love this wringer! Quiet, easy to assemble and use & adjust if need be.

I ordered this wringer based on the reviews here, as well as the price. Combined with the Breathing Hand Washer, this wringer makes laundry day a breeze! The rollers auto-adjust, so there's no need to loosen or tighten between articles of clothing, and it really gets the water out, shortening the line-drying time. I'm very pleased with this wringer.

I have only used this 5 or 6 times so far, but am very happy with the investment. My washing machine doesn't get my cloth diapers clean enough, so they are super stinky. I decided to try hand washing. I am reserving rain water and using the wringer! It is much better than wringing by hand!

I bought this wringer many years ago from Lehman's. It is awesome. The gap is variable without needing adjustment, so it will go straight from wringing a sock or pillowcase to a fat sweater, no problem. It gets things very dry, but I usually wring fluffy things twice. It's heavy, which is great because it makes it more stable if it's not mounted. I do recommend mounting it, though. It comes with a splash guard so it won't rot wood it's mounted to, or perhaps to dissipate pressure. It does take some muscle to use, but the worst case scenario is you get stronger from using it. It does an amazing job and makes doing laundry by hand a pleasure. I can't imagine why this isn't called our best wringer.
