A lot of work!

It takes a lot of pumping to bring up small amounts of water with this pump, and the pump action isn't as smooth as I'd like. That said, I'm happy to have *any* method for bringing water out of my 35' well.
Lehman's says: The stroke to length ratio of this pump is 1:1, so every inch the stroke is, the water will be lifted an inch. Depending upon your static water level, it is possible that it could take several strokes until the water will pour out. Interestingly, this pump can pump fast enough to disperse 1.5 gallons of water/minute, which is almost equivalent to an average faucet!
