The trivet is well made and very functional and a good value. It is heavy enough that no hot pot or baking pan will slide off it. With the cushioned feet' the trivet doesn't slide. The thickness keeps any heat from my wood table. The trivet is attractive enough to be on my counter all the time, and it is in daily use. I am very pleased with this item.
