Readers; This writer bought a sadly misused 100 year old scythe and brought it back to usefulness. The sharpening device was next needed, so I bought one here. The last owners of the Tool wished to see it after restoration, so I brought the Tool and the Peening Jig to them. The last tool owner is some retired metal working/design sort of chap. He looked the Jig over with the Eye of an Expert- and called it first rate. What I know; is that it works. But, be prepared, you need to be a juggler and have to make the work stand for this. Use the tool the wrong way, and you have 'made a hash' of an expensive blade. Do, thou, thy research first, before using this Jig
