Very happy with this purchase. Easy to use, easier on my arms than trying to stir in the last bit of flour by hand. Quick, easy to use, and easy to clean. Bought an additional one for my mother. I oiled the shaft and threads of the dough hook and have had no issues with metal shavings. Would buy again.

iron sawdust dropping from the upper pin onto the dough

the cast alloy arm upper pin is scratchy and this ends up producing (even if oiled) iron sawdust that drops onto the dough. completely disappointed.
