Note: Ships in two boxes. All components are handcrafted, so dimensions may vary slightly.

FOR BEST CARE: We recommend any wooden hive component surface that is exposed to the elements to be protected with exterior primer and paint before use. Only prime and paint the outside, NEVER the inside where the bees live. (The interior should be left unpainted). Do not paint the inner cover or frames.

Helpful Hint: Beeswax foundations are more delicate - handle with care. Exposure to cold temperatures can cause the beeswax to become brittle and break.
