Other Features:

  • They do not remove essential healthy minerals like magnesium and calcium in the water, and do not alter the Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). Therefore, the TDS levels remain unchanged.
  • PrimeEasy™ Universal Primer included
  • Fits all Berkey® and most other brands of gravity-fed water filter systems
  • Tested by NABL, ISO 9000, ISO 17025 accredited third-party labs using EPA guidelines and ANSI/NSF protocols and standards.
  • Fully compatible Berkey PF-2® Fluoride and Arsenic Reduction Elements
  • We recommend replacing these elements every 2,750 gallons (5,500 gallons per set of 2). Filters may require replacement sooner based upon the quality of the influent water.
  • Flow rate of up to 4.2 gallons per hour per pair. Flow rate calculated with upper chamber full to top. Flow rate decreases as water level declines. (Note: Filtration rates increase when used in larger gravity-fed water systems such as Imperial Berkey® and Crown Berkey®.)
