These pumps are real workhorses: the Amish use them for their farming and livestock operations.
Ideal for yard use in forcing water to the house or barn. Pumps water on both up and down strokes, equalizing the load and ensuring a steady, even flow of water. Force cylinder is located below the frost line (4' down inside the well casing) and is drained at that point, eliminating the danger of freezing.
Note: This pump cannot be used with an electric pump because there is not enough room in casing to share space with the force cylinder.
