How to Make Apple Butter Cookies:

1. Empty the dry mix into a medium bowl. Stir in 1/2 cup of Apple Butter and 4 Tablespoons of softened (but not melted) butter.
2. Drop spoons of cookie dough onto a lightly oiled baking sheet.
3. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 12-15 minutes. Makes about 14 cookies.

How to Make Jam Thumbprint Cookies:

1. Empty the mix into a medium bowl. Stir in 3 Tablespoons of softened (but not melted) butter and 5 Tablespoons of milk.
2. Dough will be sticky. Wash your hands and gently roll dough into balls. Use about 1-2 Tablespoons of dough for each ball.
3. Place the balls on a lightly oiled baking sheet and gently press down in the center to create a "thumb print." Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 15-17 minutes or until the cookies are beginning to brown around the edges.
4. Cool for about 10 minutes. Fill the indent in each cookie with 1/2 teaspoon of jam.
