In addition, the cast iron tin fits onto the Dutch Ovens ft6 and ft9.

The Muffin Tin also benefits from the positive properties of cast iron. The special surface structure ensures that the heat is stored and passed on efficiently to the baked goods. The surface of all Petromax cast iron products is pre-treated (grade 3 soybean oil seasoned finish) and therefore does not need burning in. Therefore, you can use your Muffin Tin immediately.

Practical and versatile

Whether savory or sweet, with the Muffin Tin you can easily bake the delicious pastries, whether in the outdoor kitchen or in the home oven. If you want to use the tin in the Dutch Oven ft9, we advise you to place the Trivet or the Stack Grate in the pot before inserting the Muffin Tin, because cast iron should always be spaced slightly apart so that it is not damaged.

How to Clean Your Petromax Cast Iron

  1. Let your Petromax cast iron pan cool down after use before you clean it.
  2. Then rinse it by hand with hot water only.
  3. Dry it thoroughly and grease it.*

*Note: Use the Petromax care paste (conditioner) for cast and wrought iron, or a neutral oil, such as pumpkin seed or rapeseed oil or vegetable fat. Do not use olive oil as it cannot be heated as much as other fats. Do not use abrasive or corrosive products or metal scourers.

Seasoning Info: Grade 3 Soybean Oil was used to pre-season this pan.
