Description
Description
The Petromax Sandwich Iron is perfectly suitable for delicious toasts, bagels or dumplings. Whether as a snack at the campfire or as a great addition to your BBQ menu: sandwiches will now be toasted in the cast iron molds in the embers of the campfire or on the barbecue. The toasted bread is crusty and the stuffing deliciously juicy, for the toast pans of the sandwich iron store heat perfectly.

Product Highlights
Stuffed sandwiches and much more
The pans, which can be separated thanks to a hinge, are ideal for toasts of 4.3" x 4.3". But other treats will be a success as well, for a practical locking hook keeps the toast pans together, so that nothing falls down. From sweet to savory, much can be tried out in the sandwich iron, for even the stored residual heat can be used for baking gently.
With comfortable wooden handles
The wooden handles fit comfortably in the hand, and the bar ensures enough distance from the source of heat. The cast iron can be used immediately thanks to the pre-seasoned surface (grade 3 soybean oil seasoned finish). For cleaning, you simply separate the cast iron halves thanks to the hinge. By the way, when cleaning, you will enjoy the amazing properties of cast iron, for it has a natural anti-adhesive effect.

How to Clean Your Petromax Cast Iron
- Let your Petromax cast iron pan cool down after use before you clean it.
- Then rinse it by hand with hot water only.
- Dry it thoroughly and grease it.*
*Note: Use the Petromax care paste (conditioner) for cast and wrought iron, or a neutral oil, such as pumpkin seed or rapeseed oil or vegetable fat. Do not use olive oil as it cannot be heated as much as other fats. Do not use abrasive or corrosive products or metal scourers.
Seasoning Info: Grade 3 Soybean Oil was used to pre-season this pan.
