Details
This axe was born out of the blazing flames of the Idaho-Montana "Big Burn" in August of 1910, designed by volunteer firefighter Ed Pulaski to aid future firefighters…and now you!
- Use the rounded blade for chopping and splitting wood.
- Flip it around to use the mattock blade for cutting and digging through tough garden soil
- Removable hex nut for re-handling and tightening
- Steel pommel at the base of the handle for hammering
How do I properly clean and maintain my Pulaski Axe? Apply a thin coat of protective oil after each use. Wipe clean of dirt, water and fingerprints regularly. Tighten or re-handle axe head as needed with the removable hex nut.
