Grand Re-Opening of Our Housewares Department

We are pleased to announce the grand re-opening of the newly remodeled Housewares Department at Lehman's. With an expanded area from 4,100 square feet to 5,000 square feet, the remodel allows for us to delve into new and expand existing categories like canning, food preservation, baking and cooking supplies and a large cast iron selection. In all, they offer over 10,000 different products in housewares alone. “We refreshed the space to highlight our huge assortment of practical and pretty items for your kitchen,” said Cameron O’Neill, Director of Merchandising. “We worked with key vendors to expand our product lines but still carry the tried-and-true products we are known for, like the Amish made rolling pins, spoons and dough whisks. We are using antiques for some of our displays so we can incorporate the old with the new. Antiques have been incorporated into the design of the newly remodeled housewares department.[/caption] Housewares products, along with cooking and heating stoves and fireplaces, have always been a focus at Lehman’s. “When you are good at something you need to build upon that strength,” said O’Neill. “We strive to be an experiential retail destination and we believe in reinvesting back into the business to create that for our customers.” [caption id="attachment_38277" align="aligncenter" width="729"] Amish-made and Ohio-made products

Lehman’s still carries the tried-and-true products such as Amish made rolling pins and made in Ohio stoneware.[/caption] With all new custom lighting provided by partner vendors, locally manufactured and made fixtures and flooring, the housewares department is adjacent to the newly remodeled Lehman’s Café, featuring soups, salads, sandwiches, desserts and old-time glass bottle specialty drinks. New lighting, fixtures and flooring are part of a major remodel at Lehman’s.[/caption] Lehman’s, on the Square in Kidron, is open every day except Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm and always open at Lehmans.com.
