Learn how to cook a better meal with cast iron! This durable cookware has been a favorite among generations of cooks. #1 -Always pre-heat your cast iron.

Pre-heating cast iron helps with consistent cooking and improves the natural seasoned finish.  Remember, cast iron gets hot and retains heat. Start with low to medium heat and slowly turn it up if needed. #2 – Avoid harsh detergents when cleaning.

Proper care helps extend the lifespan your cast iron pans. Hand wash cast iron cookware with warm water and a scrubber to protect the seasoned finish. A small amount of mild dish soap can be used if needed, but make sure to avoid using harsh detergents. Dry thoroughly and make sure to the oil the pan before storing.
