Four words: GRANDPA'S PINE TAR SOAP.
Please understand, my husband is not given to unnecessary (or even necessary, come to think of it) displays of excitement, drama, hyperactivity or any other such nonsense. However, after his first shower with the pine tar soap, a completely new side of him emerged.
He loved it! He really, really loved it! It didn't dry out his skin! His hair and scalp were perfectly clean and soft, but not flaky! It left a pleasant, campfire-like scent! Plus, all he needed was this bar of soap - just this one bar of soap!!! - in the shower!
We soon heard of a similar reaction from my (equally laid-back) brother-in-law, the other recipient of the gag gift. They have subsequently shared this amazing soap with fathers, brothers, colleagues and just about anyone else who will listen to them wax poetic about pine tar soap.
So after all this, there is only thing left for me (the wife of the world's #1 fan of pine tar soap) to ask: Have YOU tried it yet?
