Freeze-Dried Chicken Nuggets Have a 25+ Year Shelf Life!
You'll be ready for anything with a food supply that will last and be there when you need it most. Our chicken nuggets are freeze dried, so they can be stored long term and without needing refrigeration (lasts longer than dehydrated and traditional canned food!). Perfect for emergencies, just soak in water for at least 15 minutes, heat (bake or deep fry), then enjoy.
Note: This item cannot be shipped outside of the USA.
Helpful Hint: Store a can opener with your chicken nuggets, so you have it when you need it.
Directions:
Just soak the desired amount of nuggets in warm water for 15 minutes. Then preheat oven to 400°F and heat for 10-15 minutes. If you want to deep fry them, then heat oil to 350°F and fry nuggets for 2-3 minutes.
Once opened they will last:
When will your freeze-dried food expire?
The manufacturer guarantees the minimum shelf life of 25 years from when the food was made. To find the manufactured date, look at the label on the can. There should be a code similar to this one below:
8034 b2 19
All you need to look at is the first set of numbers (8034) - that is the date code in Julian format. So in the example above, it was made on the 34th day of 2018, which is February 3. 25 years from this date gives you the minimum of how long it will last.
Note: Since it is a long-term storage, the shelf life will depend on the conditions under which you store the food.
